Export from Questrade
1

Go to questrade.com and sign in to your trading account.
2
Navigate to Activity → Orders
In the top menu, click Activity, then select Orders from the dropdown. This shows your full order history.
3
Set your date range
Use the date pickers to select the range you want to import — e.g. the current trading month or the full evaluation period.
4
Download as CSV
Click the Download or Export button and choose CSV format. The file will be saved as something like Orders.csv.
Import into Trade Pro Journal
5
Click "CSV Import" in the top bar
In the top navigation bar (desktop) click the CSV Import button. A file picker will open.
6
Select your Orders.csv file
Browse to where you saved the file and select it. Trade Pro Journal will instantly parse and pair your buy/sell orders using FIFO logic.
7
Review the preview and confirm
A preview modal shows the number of trades found, date range, estimated P&L, and a sample of the parsed trades. Click Import when you're satisfied.
Duplicate trades are automatically skipped — re-importing the same file is safe.

P&L is calculated as (exit − entry) × qty − commission. Make sure commission values in Questrade match your actual plan — some brokers show $0 for commission-free tiers.
Manual Entry Tips
!
Adding open positions
When adding a trade, fill in Entry Price and Quantity but leave Exit Price blank. The position will appear in the Open Positions panel in Trade History. Edit it later to add the exit price and close the trade.
!
Commission is remembered
Your commission rate and unit (per share, per option, etc.) are saved automatically. The next trade you add will pre-fill the same commission — just edit if it changes.
!
Consistency score uses net P&L
The consistency formula is largestTrade / totalPnL × 100. Commission is already deducted from the net P&L stored on each trade, so the score reflects real take-home performance.
Need to export your trades for records?
Use the Export button in the top bar to download a JSON backup of all your trades and settings. Re-importing it later merges without duplicates.
